All Bear Pawls hubs are serviceable without the use of tools. Durable cartridge bearings, alloy and steel materials are combined to create hub systems that are easy to build and service.

Interchangeable Axle Systems

Select from standard QR, 12mm thru axles, 15mm thru axles and 20mm thru axles for front hubs and standard QR and 12mm thry axles for rear hubs.

Durable Anti-Bite Technology

Patented Anti-Bite system protects lightweight alloy cassette bodies from drive damage.

IMPEL Ratchet Ring Drive System

Available as an upgrade option, IMPEL refers to our new 24T ratchet ring driver compatible with select hubs. Unlike a traditional pawl system, Alexrims' ratchet ring provides more positive engagement with the hub for improved power transfer. Additionally, ratchet ring systems have increased lifespans and improved wear characteristics making them ideal for aggressive riding or high-torque E-bike applications.

POWER STROKE Drive Technology

Bear Pawls E-Bike specific hubs feature our latest POWER STROKE Technology featuring the latest design to enhance strength and performance demanded by high torque E-Bike applications.

• Precision-machined high load chromoly steel axle
• Reinforced wall thickness increases hub shell structural strength
• Application-specific freehub bearing extends part durability
• Synchronous engagement driven by 6 pawls and 36 teeth to more evenly distribute drive forces

Interchangeable Drive Systems

All Bear Pawls rear hubs are interchangeable with our extensive line of freehub bodies ranging from Shimano to SRAM, Alloy to Steel, Cassette, XD, 36-tooth, 72-tooth and IMPEL ratchet ring for the widest array of options and configurations available anywhere.
